Starting with a trip to La Saga du Rhum museum, you will be guided on a sensory adventure through the history of the island and manufacture of this complex and wonderful drink. Back at the resort, the journey continues with a private tasting of some of Reunion’s most famous blends including flavoured rums exclusive to LUX* Saint Gilles. You will then have the opportunity to mix your own exclusive blend, presented to you beautifully packaged with a personal label. What’s more, we’ll stay in contact and even send you additional bottles to keep you stocked up throughout the year.

Lagoon Living

Open for breakfast and dinner, La Cuisine is the resort’s signature restaurant, offering a delectable array of international and island-inspired cuisine. LA PLAGE
7:30pm to 9:30pm – closed Wednesdays and Thursdays
Nestled between the beach and glittering swimming pool, La Plage celebrates the traditional Creole cuisine of the island. Dine on the wooden deck overlooking a magnificent view of the lagoon. Try island specialties such as spicy sausage rougail or red tuna tartar, followed by a delightful vanilla-flavoured rum or fresh papaya juice. Discover the exotic flavours of Latin and oriental themed dishes like savoury king prawns, duck magret or lobster. And of course, don’t forget to leave some room for a delectable chocolate tart or cardamom-flavoured banana cake for dessert.

ORANGINE

With seating for up to 40 guests, Orangine offers an enchanting setting with classically modern touches of sparkling glass and polished wood in a vibrant island ambience. Tuck into sumptuous lobster carpaccio on sugarcane, indulge in delicately crafted papaya spring rolls or be tempted by homemade cinnamon and honey ice cream complemented by an exceptional selection of French and New World wines.
