Very many waterfalls rush into the ravines of the island. Each region gives the possibility of admiring one or more of them, but it is the cirques and the north of the island that hold the most. They are spectacular and they all provide an opportunity to walk with the family and their pools are often suitable for swimming. They are especially spectacular after the passage of a cyclone but they can on this occasion cause great damage. The main ones are listed here as the hikes are carried out. Some are directly accessible by road.
